The gardens at Bosco provide areas for work, recreation and relaxation for residents, staff and local volunteers. We grow our own produce and have a large greenhouse, raised vegetable beds, fruit trees and floral areas, and a beehive.

In recent years there has been a significant upswing of interest in the therapeutic value of gardens that are specifically designed to address a variety of applications within healthcare, rehabilitation, and other therapeutic settings.

In 2009, Bosco House was refurbished to a high standard and the garden area, which was previously fully utilised, became little more than part of the building site and fell into disrepair.
