Our volunteers are involved in all aspects of the work we do, including reception duties, answering telephone calls, and working in the Futures Suite. We rely on our dedicated team of volunteers to support the smooth running of all aspects of our organisation.
As well as helping in the hostels there are also opportunities for volunteers to work in the gardens at Bosco House. We provide learning opportunities for residents (growing and cooking your own food, selling produce, etc.) and recreational activities for local volunteers and community groups.
We encourage our volunteers to take up training opportunities to promote professional development and ongoing personal achievement. All volunteers will be expected to attend relevant training opportunities and undergo a DBS check.
