We provide supported accommodation for 26 residents at two hostels, ten move-on flats to promote independent living in the local community, and a nightly sit-up service for ten rough sleepers.
Bosco House opened in 1983 under the guidance of Father Michael Booth, a Salesian priest who taught in the local secondary school.
Bosco Lodge opened in May 2016 - nearly a year after we should have moved residents from the previous, inadequate, hostel into the newly refurbished building.
The Bosco Society owns ten flats in the local area that residents can move on to after a 12-month stay in either Bosco House or Lodge.
The Sit-Up Service
The Sit-Up Service provides a safe, warm, dry place for up to 10 rough-sleepers to spend the night, alternating between Bosco House and Bosco Lodge.
